08009 - Happy but disappointed
I have finished the first 11 days of the Fatloss4Idiots diet. I'm happy but I'm also somewhat disappointed. So what happened? I did not lose nearly enough weight; Only 2 lbs.
This could be contributed to several factors.
1) I did not walk as much as the program requires; 2x30 minutes or 1x45 minutes.
Well, like everyone who wants to keep up the lingering presence of any self-respect, I had a "good excuse". It was raining a lot the last few weeks, and usually at my walking time.
2) Then there is this very tricky phrase "Do not eat until completely full." How can someone tell that they are not completely full until they are actually full was always a total mystery for myself...
3) I need to learn to drink my drinks. Oh well, I hate drinking water. Not surprisingly, I do drive my relatives crazy with this notion... Luckily, there are also teas, coffee, milk juices and many more wonderful liquids that could do the trick... if I would drink them enough instead of forgetting their existence completely all day long...
4) I was not eating greasy things before, so choosing some foods like bacon and walnuts did not help my cause.
So the Pros:
- I was never hungry.
- I did not feel bad, like I did with all the other diets I had before.
- Did not require a lot of movement from me.
- The food is very balanced.
- I eat only what I like and want.
- Very easy to follow the program.
The Cons:
- I did not lose the promised 9 lbs (But that, I'm sure, is my fault.)
Ok, so were will I go from here.
Even though I'm slightly disappointed I will try one more set of 11 days after the 3 day break. I will change some stuff, as it allows me to do so. I think it is worth giving it another try, follow the rules more closely and see where it takes me.

Present Weight: 300 lbs
Target Weight: 180 lbs
