A Fat Man's Diary
Today is the day
This is it. Today is the day. I HAVE MADE A DECISION.
My weight broke the 300 lb barrier. Again... and not in the right direction!
Man, I hate dieting and I tried a lot of stuff.
The last time, I lost 90lbs in 6 months. How? I ate 500 Calories of protein a day (and nothing else) with a doctor's supervision. I called it the suicide diet. It was great while it lasted. But raising the calorie intake to 1500 calories invalidated the whole process. The result speaks for itself. I'm over 300 again... I definitely will not go through that again.
So today is the day, when I will start a research project to figure out what is that actually works and what is not, so I can lose the weight and keep it off.
I'm starting this diary, to keep me on my toes.
Why do I need a diary to keep me on my toes? Because I'm a lazy bum. I would procrastinate to the end of the world. But with these pages, I will have to document my daily progress. Now, that is a challenge, hard to resist.
